Ok, so in my last post, I had mentioned that I was going to try to blog once a day for 7 days.  Ok, that didn’t work.  It’s the holiday season and I have a 3 month old son who isn’t feeling well.  So, after reading some blogs on the internet, Brent Ozar (@brento | brentozar.com) (one that I read quite frequently) had a post that hit home for me.  You can read that post here: http://www.brentozar.com/archive/2008/12/how-to-start-a-technical-blog/.  It’s actually part 1 of 4, so feel free to read other three entries.  Brent really does have a way with words and he makes perfect sense to me.  So, with that, I’m going to try to start to blog at least once a week.  I really enjoy getting up on Sunday mornings, having a cup of coffee, reading the paper and watching Holmes on Homes.  I’m going to write a blog about him and his philosophy and how it pertains to SQL Server later.  So, on Sunday mornings, I’m going to try to work on my blog on Sunday morning.  Might not always be a post, but I am going to try.

Anyway, I hope that this holiday season finds you, gentle reader, and your family well and in good spirits!  I think I hear the eggnog calling, so I leave you today with a very “Merry Christmas!”
