Lincoln SQL Server User Group – I’m Speaking!

Yup, you guessed it.  I’m speaking again!  If you know me, this isn’t a surprise.  I love to talk about SQL Server!

This time I’ll be speaking at the Lincoln SQL Server User group meeting on Thursday December 5th, 2013 at 6:30PM.

SQL Server Databaseology 201: A Study of Database Internals

This is one of my favorite sessions to give simply because I love talking about the internals.  In this session we’ll drive down to what I call the “cellular level” of SQL Server.  The attendees will walk away  a better understand of how rows are constructed, how they live on pages and how this relates to real world issues that they might run into.  This will also help them to build better and faster databases.

The meeting will be starting at 6:30PM and we’ll be located in the Architectural Hall on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus.  For location details and map link, see below.

Architectural Hall, UNL City Campus
(Between 10th & 11th Street near R Street)

Come on out and watch!  I dare you to get your learn on!  If you decide to come watch, please take a moment to RSVP so that the meeting organizer can make sure to have enough food!

See you on Thursday!
